Literally the only difference is the stand. This one has a stand, the A1E has no stand. The panels are the same. The processors are the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reviews show different sub pixel structure indicating its using newer LG OLED panel same one that C8 uses also gets slightly brighter than A1E. Half the weight and IMO better for wall mounting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model is better designed for wall mounting and I believe there were improvements to the video processor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi SIL64, One of their differences is the market release date. A1E is a 2017 model while A8F is 2018. Visit this page for more information: https://www.sony.com/electronics/tv/t/televisions Regards, Vincent
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The primary difference is the stand. The A1E is like an easel, where the A8F is perpendicular to the floor (i.e. straight up and down).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Basically the stands. The A1E stand folds out from the tv and supports the tv. The A8F mounts closer to the wall and has a low tv stand if not wall mounted.
