A:AnswerSony has released Android 10 update in June 2021. My Sony has not yet received the update. It’s now end of September. You can download the update from Sony, load on USB stick, and update via that route. That’s exactly what I will do if the darn update doesn’t show up soon. No prob with update for HDMI in February 2021. Just notified me one day and worked a treat. RM Ca.
A:AnswerHi Silverhawk,
Thanks for your inquiry. We can't guarantee the full compatibility of the XBR55X900H with third-party wall mounts. We do recommend the Sony SU-WL855 Wall Mount bracket which is compatible with the TV. Additionally, you can use the VESA-compatible wall mount. The TV has a screw hole pattern of 11 7/8 x 11 7/8 inches (300 x 300 mm)(W x H).
Hope this helps,
-Ralph
A:AnswerHi B, thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we cannot be sure where our individual TVs would be made, as they are produced in many locations to fulfill worldwide demand.
We can tell you, that whatever location produces the X900H and X800H, it is held to the same quality standards as all Sony products.
Rest assured that these TV series will be great!

A:AnswerHi Carter,
Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you do have the option to connect HDMI devices to the TV. It will also not affect the performance of the TV. To achieve the best performance from the TV, make sure to install the latest software version.

A:AnswerHi TANIA,
Thanks for your inquiry. The XBR55X900H TV is designed for a next-gen gaming console like the PlayStation 5, however does not list it as “Ready for PS5” on the box. It supports 4K 120Hz signal format (included on the latest software version) to allow for PlayStation 5 compatibility. It will also support VRR and ALLM via a future firmware update.
Please make sure to enable the Automatic Software Update on your TV to get the latest version. Hope this helps!
Regards,
-Ralph
A:AnswerHi Baldy,
Thanks for your interest in the Sony XBR55X900H TV. The XBR55X900H has a 3.5 mm headphone jack located on the side of the TV, if your wireless headphone equipment doesn’t have this jack then you may need to use optical or an RCA adaptor for the 3.5mm output. Please note you will not be able to use the tv speakers at the same time with your headphones when using this jack. You may refer to this link for more information:

A:AnswerApps installed include Netflix and others are easily available via Google play store. There you can find Apple TV+, Hulu, Sling Tv, you are quite limited in storage capacity of about 4 gigs. Apps like apple, prime, most others similar use 200+ Mb each. Plus android uses a bunch leaving about maybe 3 gigs for apps. Surprised how little storage given. I’m leaving enough free for coming Android 10 update (1.8 gig) is what Sony says you need free on USB stick if you update that way. Released in June but hasn’t shown up on my 900h yet (end of September) will update with USB device following directions clearly described @ Sony site.
A:AnswerSony surprised me with only 4 gigs Ram, shoot, my phone has more than that. Bad Sony, go to your room and no dessert for you!. no expansion I am aware of. It’s enough but barely. I would load some network monitoring apps and more but Am leaving 1.8 gigs free for June 2021 released Android 10 update. Then I will really know what’s left after that.it’s end of September and getting weary of waiting for update to show. Sony describes USB stick procedure for this update. Will do it that way very, very soon. Seems unfinished as is, to me.
A:AnswerHi there,
Thanks for your inquiry. The TV doesn't have RCA ports. If you're trying to connect a device via a composite connection, you can use an analog extension cable. You may refer to these links for more information:
