A:AnswerYes, it has eARC in order to connect via HDMI. In fact it’s best to use HDMI in order to achieve the premium sound systems such as Dolby Atmos. Optical cables cannot achieve the top sounds.
A:AnswerIt will work; use the digital optical cable output on the Sony as you currently do for your existing TV. It is even smart enough to recognize the change and will turn off the TV speakers. Nice TV!
