“Can it be installed in a 2008 Toyota Highlander without causing a problem?”

• Depends what you consider "a problem". You need a harness such as : SCOSCHE TA2089BRB 2008-13 Toyota Highlander (Brown) Double DIN or DIN w/pocket Install Dash Kit.. if your dash is black it's a different model# This will house the stereo. You need a steering wheel control kit if you have steering wheel controls (volume, next track).. if you want to use the back up camera feature you need to purchase a backup camera. The stereo itself works awesome though! If you have android or Apple it will give you more features. Talk to a best buy installer before purchase 8f you have more questions. I recommend this stereo. Bought mine during a free install special.
