I would say it's the best stereo out there becuase the sound quality is very good and it comes with Sirius XM radio for free and if you have a sound system the bass is awesome it also comes with a remote which comes in handy

I was swapping the stock\old radio (with nav) in a 2004 BMW 330 CI and looking to integrate my iPhone. The Sony fit the bill and is working great. I like the traditional volume knob, the display is great, and the sound is excellent. Best Buy did an awesome job on the installation - very pleased!

This thing is so smart, it reads your text messages for you. & then asks what you’d like to reply. It charges your phone while you drive, it’s honestly my favorite. I absolutely love Apple CarPlay!

Just had this installed yesterday. The installation process was quick and painless. It took about an hour, though the appointment was set for three. Extremely happy with this part of the purchase as I bought online during black Friday and installation was free (including the xm tuner) . The unit looks great in my 2000 landcruiser and the sound is better than the stock unit. It does seem to reach the limits of my stock speakers at a lower volume than the stock unit, however. Most likely because it is providing a higher quality signal to the factory amp. The user interface is easy to use, however it is kind of a pain to get android auto set up correctly and I'm still working it out. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. The volume knob is a big plus for me. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

I purchased this receiver for my 2005 Ford F-150. Great product by Sony in that i can use either my iPhone or an Android device while driving with little to no distractions. Supplied microphone works flawlessly for Siri/Google Assistant. Installation was a breeze. 3 cameras (one dedicated rear/reverse) can be hooked up to this receiver. Included SiriusXM receiver was a cherry on top, as I was in need of an updated satellite receiver for some time now. User interface of the receiver is very streamlined and distraction/gimmick-free. Obviously Apple Car/Android Auto interfaces are optimized for hands-free driving also. I'm very happy with this purchase, and will definitely recommend buying this over some of the pricier brands/models that boast flashy interfaces. This thing has all the bells and whistles one might need.

Radio is good except when the sun reflects on the screen. It’s made difference with the CarPlay interface...much easier than using a phone mounted on the dashboard. It’s a user friendly interface for driving. There’s a bug where sometimes the sound keeps playing even though it should stop if you switched the source. It’s only happened twice in a month. The install was good except some the environment control lights for the cool/heat don’t light up after the install. Also the radio can’t keep the time. Overall I’d recommend the radio and the install was good but that cool air light buttons not lighting up is annoying.

This is a great audio system. I am using Android Auto and it is scary how well it works, most of the time. Sometimes, you do have to restart your phone, but that is typical Operating System issues. It took awhile to adjust the equalizer to fit my needs, but once I did, this thing sounds fantastic. The screen is very clear, even if it is sunny out. If you are using an Android, I will suggest you download the Rocket Player music app, which is free, to play your music that is on your phone or MicroSD as I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the Samsung music player is not compatible and hasn't been for sometime, per the online requests to Android Auto. I look forward to every day I get into my car, I love that I can use the Satellite View as it makes it easier to see where I am when using the Map function. It isn't super fast, so if you like a song on Pandora and you hit the Thumbs up, give it about 20 seconds or so, but that is a great price to pay, for not being a distracted driver. I asked it the other day for the 10 day weather report, and my Google Lady, told me it all. I keep finding Easter Eggs with this, and so will you. So happy with this little bugger.

The radio is great looking, easy to use, and sounds amazing. I love that it fits perfectly in my Honda CRV 2014. It looks like it was from the dealership. Just make sure to purchase the necessary cables to be able to control from your steering wheel or manufacture controls.

This system is fairly decent for the price. Android auto is nice, as is the systems interface. Sound is pretty good too. However, I'm disappointed by the lack of tuning capabilities, such as no time alignment, or no individual channel preamp gain adjustments. It also does not scale to 4.1 channels. I have an older Sony system in a different car that has all the above and more, though it cost more back in the day.

Added this radio to my vehicle in order to use Apple Car Play/Android Auto in order to make mobile phone hands free. Not only does it accomplish that, but the overall sound of the stereo system is greatly improved.

Love this receiver. Had a fancy aftermarket unit with built in GPS and nav in my 2007 F150 Supercab, but the subscription ended after 1 yr and it was $90/yr to continue to keep maps working. Read a lot of reviews and had a Sony receiver in my old truck, so I pulled the trigger on this due to the sale price and free Geek Squad installation (also highly recommend). Have had it in for about a week now and love the functionality. I get in, plug my phone in and forget about it. Siri is helpful for navigation and phone calls. Speech to text works well for responding to messages. Only 50 watts per channel, but it is plenty for my aftermarket speakers in the cab. Overall great purchase. Highly recommend

The quality of the DVD player is outstanding, display monitor is perfect and the hand held remote control makes it easy to change functions.

Sorry about the lame summary, but it's a good head unit. It did help the sound tremendously. Once you get it up and running, it works great nearly all the time. I added a back up camera and siriusXM. Everything worked well, even though it was put into a 2007 Tacoma. Steering wheel controls work prefect, tussle to geek squad tech who went above and beyond! Issues with Bluetooth and a funky way of getting the system to connect with my phone is the only drawback that I've had since I owned it, but even then it works good after some fiddling with the settings. I've owned it for over a year and a half with no significant issues at all. Good buy!

I shopped around for a stereo that would also have Sirius Satellite radio and was able to purchase this system with all the necessary hardware for a professional install for way less than local stereo stores and the installer was very knowledgeable and Awesome! I was very happy with the whole process!

Although Sony isn’t the first name I thought of for car audio it turns out I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The installer did a beautiful install. Looks like it was factory installed. I’ll go back for another installation for rear camera.
