If you buy the appropriate adapter you should be able to keep the steering wheel controls, warning chimes etc. There are numerous websites that can show you which adapter you'd need for your vehicle if that fails maybe the Car Install Geek Squad team can help answer which one to go with. I have a GM truck and was able to keep my controls with a PAC adapter.
