Get a new TV, I am returning mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tough luck. Bestbuy does not take this tv back in spite of well documented problem. They point to Sony for warranty service. Sony stonewalls by insisting to turn down brightness in every way possible (light sensor, backlighting) and refuses to open a repair case. They claim that this is normal. Speaking from sad personal experience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told by a tech person that it can not be fixed quickly. You send it to a repair shop and they re-glue it. Days if not weeks are involved. I had a protection plan plus only 7 days had passed so I took it back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Take it back, no luck with Sony support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told minimal light bleed should resolve over time but I don't have it, so I have no issue to resolve. My understanding is that any light bleed should result in the set being returned to purchaser given Sony is aware of this issue.
