Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've always had a Sony TV myself. My old LCD Sony finally crashed on me so, I bought a new Sony. This is a smart tv that will connect to the internet. You do not have to actually have to connect to it if you don't want to. If you decide to, you can access Netflix or other streaming products. It is convient for my self because I do watch Netflix and HBOGO. There is a comparable model like the one you are looking at Best Buy that I looked into and it was also a smart tv for a few hundred dollars less. Don't buy into the 4K illusion, cable has not caught up to the technology yet. I bet you can find a Sony without the bells and whistles that just keeps it simple and saves some money too!
