I don't see how it can be an issue with the TV. Have you tried calling Sony customer support? They may have you update the firmware or reboot the system to see if that truly is the issue. Otherwise, you can do a workaround and get a Fire TV like I do, and access all your apps through that. I don't use apps on the TV and instead use apps on the Fire TV. I've never had any problems at all doing that on any of my TV's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have wifi? Or 'hardwired' connected via cat 5 or 6 cable to a modem? If so you should have no problem connecting to Netflix.
