While you might not have an HDMI output from your video card, you should be able to buy an adapter to convert it to an HDMI connection. So, DP port to HDMI, DVI-E to HDMI, or really almost anything. USB to a pc generally won't give access to the PC's hard drive.

Your PC will have either a VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI or a combination of those for video output. Determine which your PC has and simply connect the appropriate adapter to HDMI.
