Even though Best Buy isn't in Australia, they do however have a subsidiary there, Techbuy Australia. So, it's not that Best Buy, or Techbuy Australia doesn't want to make this TV available to you, it's Sony distribution that determines when and what parts of the world gets their products. Not the answer you necessarily want, but the good part is, it most likely will be available eventually. Good luck to you.
