I believe you're probably shooting yourself in the foot by utilizing the fire stick. This TV supports Amazon TV, no need to use the fire stick. Of course you must have your TV either hard wired to the internet or access WiFi. I have used both connections on my TV and it streams HD beautifully. Before this TV I had never taken advantage of Amazon's "Prime" entertainment options. I did however upgrade my WiFi router just before taking delivery of the new set. I don't think you should have any problems once you remove the "stick". Best of luck to you.
