I just did this today being I’m adding a Sonos Ach. The legs are reversible and give you two options. The one you see pictured will give you the shortest stance that your going to get and the tv sits lower. The legs are connected to the mounts that slide up into the tv by two screws. If you take the screws out and switch the mounts to the opposite legs it not only raises the tv up so you have the height for a soundbar but it also gives the legs a much wider stance that puts them more towards the ends of the tv. Hopefully this is the answer that you are looking for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Storm, The A8H has a two-position stand (standard and soundbar positions) which raises the TV 2.8 inches when in the soundbar position. The stand of the A8H cannot be reversed. Below are the approximate widths of the stand of XBR65A8H: Standard Position: 39 5/8 inch (1004 mm) Soundbar Position: 42 3/8 inch (1075 mm) You can also check this link for other details: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/5014/67be14417fc6b33a2527de348b5ecf12/50147791M.pdf. I hope this helps! -Vincent
