If you have an Appletv you can use that external device through an HDMI input on the TV to gain access to your content. If you want to cast to the TV using a IOS device you can use the same Appletv for airplay compatibility or any app that uses casting options inside the application to Chromcast to the TV. The TV does have apple homekit and airplay built-in that was enabled from a firmware update, so you don’t have to use an Appletv if you do not own one. As far as the experience you will have access to over 700,000 apps through the Googleplay store and there are plenty of options for IOS users also. Hope this helps. Regards, -Craig
