I use the Bose Lifestyle 650 with this tv and with one exception, it works great. I also use the Bose remote to control the tv as well as my sony blue-ray player and my streeming. The one exception on the sound is the intermittent problem with the sound reverting to the tv speakers when I use the Xfinity cable box. The sound problem only occurs intermittently with the cable box, not with any other connections; blue-ray and streaming work fine. (My work around when this problem occurs is to switch my remote’s source to “TV” so the system synchs with the external Bose speakers and then switchback to “cable box” and the sound stays on the external speakers.) The sound is fantastic especially when playing 4k movies!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t recommend pairing it with the Sony Surround Sound because after 50 hours of attempted set-up effort they appear to be incompatible. You can pair them to work with streamed material, or with network TV, but not both!

However, you may add an auxiliary sound like the HTST000 You may consider a soundbar, it's easy to install.
