Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Color, Design, PictureCons mentioned:RemoteModerate to Easy setup, nice speed on Android Operating system. Disney Plus looks Great - Menus seem to be off in color, but the movies are excellent. Amazon Prime - Works Awesome, Netflix Awesome - (Try "Our Planet" on Netflix). HDR Content looks great with Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10. Mounting to the wall was great as Sony provides screws for the TV. Remote is a bit long for me, but very functional. I still need to figure out how to get the remote to control the Bose System for Volume. Just a tad expensive, when compared to Vizio and Samsung QLED (different format, but almost comparable)

The messiah of OLED’s

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The tv is astonishing, I just got it ISF professionally calibrated and I am at a loss of words. It’s as if you are looking through a window. Only downside is that tv sits right on the tv console and you cannot run wires to the back of the tv, you have to run it in front and around the tv to make any connections other than that the tv is well worth the price.

Picture keeps getting stuck
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5So upset as this TV is rated as the best. This is the second Sony TV in 10 months. The A8 was making electrical popping noises while it was OFF, after watching tv for several hours plus some other issues. Since I had Geek Squad warranty, I exchanged for the best 65” Sony the A9. The picture gets stuck while another station is playing in the background. I’ve had it for less than a month.. Sony tech support are heartless people and can hardly understand them as they’re outsourced. Now I have to contact Geek Squad yet again. On a final note, products are not as good as they use to be. Customer service in various companies have a don’t care attitude and only a few remain. Just my two cents.

Amazing OLED
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Design, Picture, Set upWith COVID-19 restricting outside activities, I decided to upgrade my in-home entertainment. This Master Series OLED is simply amazing. I compared Sony to LG OLED and liked the more realistic image. The picture is brilliant without being overwhelming. The smart TV apps are easy to add, activate, and use. The remote control interacts with streaming services seamlessly. The audio quality is very good, much better than my old Sony Bravia LED. I have a Bose Cinemate system, and it interfaces beautifully with the optical audio output. I now have a fantastic in-home entertainment system to make staying at home a beautiful thing. I purchased this on an early Black Friday sale. Even with $1000 off, this was a significant purchase. But this TV is so impressive, it is worth the investment. I highly recommend this AMAZING SONY OLED TV.

Best TV in 2020
|Posted .Owned for 5 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture, Sound qualityCons mentioned:AppsPurchased this TV in June. Originally went in to buy the A8G but after seeing the difference between the A9G and every other tv in the store decided to buy what I believe to be a great tv for years to come. Nearly 6 months in now and I am very happy with this purchase. With 8k being many years away from being supported in large scale this tv will not disappoint. The picture is magnificent. There is no lag or fuzziness ever. I was warned that it does not perform as well as QLED during the day but I've never had any trouble. As for operation this tv is very easy to use if you are accustomed to using a smart phone. After a couple days of searching and downloading apps that i wanted, the ease of use is effortless. Occasionally I do have perform a hard restart for some of the apps to work properly but this is no different than a phone. And seeing as how it is Android based it's also expected. Sound is above average in volume but the quality is crystal clear perfect. Pair this tv with dolby atmos surround and you will have true cinema experience. This tv works well without but is not as loud as Samsung. So happy that I returned to Sony with this purchase and I'm very excited to see what happens when it's paired with a PS5. In my opinion and experience Sony OLED is superior to Samsung QLED in operation, picture, and style. Samsung does offer a superior sound without surround or bar, and is easier to use out of the box.

One of the BEST on the market
Posted .This premium TV is, in my opinion, one of the best out there as of now. Some of the highlighted features on this TV includes an OLED TV with absolute black, vibrant colors, intelligent processing, ultimate realism, 4K X-Reality PRO and object-based super resolution, smooth and vibrant colors, studio-quality Netflix content with Netflix Calibrated mode, high-performance calibration, 2160p resolution for breathtaking HD images, hands-free smart TV, motion-flow XR keeps the action smooth, acoustic surface audio+, four HDMI inputs for better home theater connection, and three USB inputs. The only couple major low-lights for this TV is that the price is extremely expensive to buy and the brightness level is limited in white scenes. Other than that, this is an excellent TV and truly one to be experienced.

Absolutely Stunning...the second time around !
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Design, PictureDecided to jump in big time and pay the big bucks for supposedly 'the best OLED TV". Replacing a calibrated 60" Samsung Plasma (PN60F8500) that is still holds a great picture. Long story short, after setting up the new Sony A9G we were blown away with the picture quality. The only access to actual 4K HDR content we had was watching demo videos on YouTube through the TV ap. All was great but after about 6 hours of on-time the TV took a dump and developed a horrendous vertical green line just off center top to bottom on every source input as well as the Home screen. Had to go through the hassle of returning it to the store and arranging another set to be delivered. So far the second set has been flawless and since we are now past the two week BB return time we are holding our breath every time we turn on the TV. I hope this was just a one-off issue (maybe the TV was built on a Friday afternoon and they rushed it to go home). Another issue I have is for such a "high end" TV I would have expected a very detailed user manual to accompany the TV. NOT! Sony went cheep on this aspect. There isn't even one to download from the Sony website. There is buried in the TV menu a generic link to various Sony video set-up guides but nothing specific to the A9G. I've resorted to reading posts by other users on on-line forums (AVS) to get info on how to tweak the TV. So far so good.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture, Sound qualityPurchased the AG9 OLED set from my local Sony retailer. The picture is first class, couldn't fault it. The sound system is very good for a flat TV. Not much bass of course but then no TV does these days. Nice controls and remote. So far so good, I originally had a 55 inch ,but exchanged for this 65" and am much happier.

Great picture
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture, Sound qualityThis tv would get an A+, except sometimes it glitches. I had to have it replaced once because the sound wouldn’t work unless I unplugged it. The replacement tv doesn’t have that issue, but when I’m watching Netflix and want to adjust the sound, the sound will cut off instead of gradually getting louder. The picture quality and sound quality are excellent though, so this is just a minor inconvenience. I really like the ease in accessing things like Netflix, Hulu, and Pandora. Google assist is nice too. I’d say definitely worth the money for the picture and sound quality alone.

Returned for LG C9
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality3 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture, Set upHad this tv for two weeks, excellent picture quality, excellent upscaling, ok operating system, HDMI 2.0, dim Dolby Vision: The main reason I returned this tv was because every time I turned the eARC on the tv would go into standby mode, black screen with Bravia logo, I found one other person on the AVS forum that had the same problem. I contacted Sony and they could not help, the geek squad came to the house and they could not solve, I even did a factory reset and that didn’t work. The only way I could watch tv without it going into standby was to turn eARC to off. I have an eARC compatible sound bar so I wanted this feature to work, for what I paid for this tv I expected everything to work, so I decided to exchange for the 77’ LG C9. Best Buy was excellent, this was a return/exchange/upgrade, they came and removed the the AG9 and set up the C9, I also purchased Tech Support for one year as well as the five year extended warranty. The C9 is an excellent tv, the picture quality and the upscaling aren’t as good as the Sony, but very close, in my opinion. The C9 also has HDMI 2.1 and the eARC works flawlessly with my sound bar, love the C9 operating system too. I think the Sony A9G is an excellent tv, I just happened to get a defective panel, I also think their Dolby Vision is dim, the C9 is brighter.
