The only negative comment... the first TV that was delivered would not power on... no further comment... on that TV. The second TV that was delivered met my expectations visually... image quality did not disappoint... fed by a quality source. My 4K (final generation) Oppo disc player has been patiently waiting... I'm not generally a first adopter. This TV took the spot where our venerable Panasonic Plasma ZT65 sat... a remarkable TV in it's own right. Yes, we are keeping the ZT65. The remote is taking a little getting used to... it's set up differently than the Panasonic's remote... and it is not backlit... why that is you would have to ask Sony... but at the price point that this set initially sold for... ?. In their defense, it has a nice feel to it's quality. The menus are quite different also... and, quite frankly, a little clunky to navigate (lots of button pushes to find things). Ahhh... but the reason that any sane person spends this kind of money for a TV (even at it's current great price)... is because they are most interested in image quality. That my friends, is what makes this TV worth what they ask... period!

We just love this new Sony Bravia OLED 4K TV. We replaced a Sony Bravia XBR16 that lasted us several years. The new Bravia's colors are amazing! The new menu icons are user friendly, the new TV hookup to our 7.1 surround sound was seamless. The black background color looks almost like liquid, not flat like other TVs.

This is our second purchase of the Sony Bravia A9G TV. We purchased our first last year for our Master Bedroom, and loved it! It was perfect for our bedroom and we didn't need a sound bar. We liked it so much we purchased a second A9G for our family room. Ok....now the reality. We still love this TV, but integrating the A9G with a Sonos Playbase is a pain. We have a Sonos Playbase in our Family Room and it worked just fine with our old Samsung (14 yrs old) without any issues. For some reason the Sony A9G and the Sonos Playbase do not like each other. Trying to get the right remote to work (Sony's A9G remote or Comcast's Xfinity remote) to control audio volume has been a royal pain in the rear end. Endless searches in Sony & Sonos support forums has produced no solution. Wife is roasting me to 475 degrees until crispy why I have a expensive speaker that is not compatible with the beloved Sony A9G. Just wanted to post this for other husbands, boyfriends, and partners to be forewarned. Bottom line, the A9G is an extremely nice TV. If you have existing Sonos speakers, watch out.....do your homework before committing.

I love it. TV as it should be. I have watched this TV for several months thinking that the price will drop. But Sony TV as it has been, has always been pricy. If Sony can just bring the price of this TV down. On a serious note, this TV is superb and awesome. I love it.

This TV is fantastic. The picture quality is absolutely stunning. It was easy to set up (though it was a 2-person job). We are piping the audio output to a surround-sound system, but we did try the internal speakers and they're quite good. If you're wondering whether an OLED TV is worth the increase in price, it really is.

I bought this set for my den where I entertain and watch with others. It was mounted expertly by Best Buy. At the same time I bought the LG Oled CX. This allows me a straight up comparison since the electronics on the two sets are practically identical. I give the overall nod to this Sony for its superior brightness and the potential for fine tuning using the advanced chip.I ding it gor using the data intrusive Android operating system, though many like the Android and don’t mind their data being hovered up.\ The LG has less fine control, but offers a picture which has a limpid quality. It’s black levels are more subtly refined, but the trade off is lower brightness. Still, I get more involved with the LG, but part of the reason is it is in a more private setting. Both are great sets. If you like movies and drama, get the LG. If you are a sports fan or like action pics and rom-coms, get the Sony- it will offer more snap.

Picture quality 10/10 Sound quality 8/10 (for a TV it is actually great) Really easy to set up. Apps work well Only con is an occasionally bug when playing atmos from TV to Receiver from what I've heard (but I don't use that function, I use a separate source)--I'm sure there will be a fix for that bug soon.

The Sony - 65 Class - OLED - A9G Master Seres is a great television. Vivid colors and fantastic features. Adjusting the set to my personal preferences was easy and quick because of the intuitive features of the set. The Master Series upscales regular HD to near 4K easily with no latency. Just a fantastic television and just what I was looking for in a home theater environment. The sound quality of the TV is also above average. So, you may want to try if before purchasing a sound bar. If you want to take full advantage of its 4K capabilities you simply use the onboard system to access just about all subscription services. Or you can just use YouTube for a vast amount of 4K viewing options. So far, The is simply the best television I have ever purchased. The Best Buy Geek Squad did an great job with the installation as well. Use them and you won’t be disappointed!

Right out of the box amazing color. I have a sound bar but the speakers lining the back of the TV are great. Spent the first day trying different channels and streaming plans. Netflix has added enhancements to many of their programs. Can’t wait to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday!!!

As always, Sony makes top notch products & this TV is no exception. Colors are vibrant while black is total BLACK (the way it should be). A little on the pricey side but well worth it plus the Geek Squad returned to re-install the swap at no additional cost. Way to Go BestBuy/Geek Squad !

Originally I purchased the 65" QLED because I was concerned with OLED burn in. I gave up a Sony Bravia 65" HD set to my kids because it wasn't 4K. If you considered doing this I have one word. Don't. I purchased The WOW calibration disk and when that didn't work had the set calibrated by the Geek squad. The problem was the balance between light and dark. The colors on the QLED were great but dark scenes were too dark and light scenes were too light, and when mixed, you couldn't see what was going on in dark areas without sacrificing clarity. Magnolia allowed me to change to the AG9 Master. The difference is stunning. The set has not even been calibrated, Just made some adjustments using the WOW disk. I have never been happier with a purchase. I can't say enough for this set and it's picture. Pure EYE CANDY.

This is a FANTASTIC TV! The picture is exceptional, the setup was a breeze and the integration with the rest of the Home Entertainment System is outstanding (Surround Sound and Blu Ray). Even the packaging was great and made unpacking and setup very easy. Highly recommend this TV.

We have had this new Sony Bravia TV for only a month, but here are my impressions so far: Loading in a hatchback was ok (boxed) Moving from car to living room was fine if there are two of you who can lift 50# The set-up was clearly explained in the instructions The only difficulty was installing the panels in the back The image is crisp, clear, and easy to fine tune Sound is remarkable considering that the screen is acting as a speaker If you have a legacy soundbar, you will either have to lift the tv up a few inches or get rid of the soundbar because the tv stand sits the screen flush on your tv table (not an issue if you're mounting it on a wall) Overall, my first impressions are that it's a great tv. It costs a little more than entry-level TVs in the Bravia family, but the picture is beautiful. My previous television was a Samsung Smart TV and it was sluggish in opening and running streaming apps.

Since my previous Bravia TV was 11yrs old, we decided to upgrade. Frankly, I thought clear tv couldn't get any better, but I was so wrong! This tv, when viewing ultra 4k stuff looks like its in 3d without needing the glasses. Its amazing how much detail you can see. What to know: this tv is best when placed in a room that doesnt' get a lot of sunlight. You can still see it clearly, but for ultra fine details its best in a room with regular to poor lighting. Ours is in a room with a two story window that gets a lot of daytime sunshine, and really see the difference when we watch at times when the sun is not lighting the room. The downside - google is super sensitive and sometimes butts in the middle of tv watching. You gotta be careful what you say. That said - if anyone knows how to turn down the sensitivity please comment. Totally recommend this tv. Review is written after 3 months of owning it.

We absolutely love our Sony OLED 4K television! The colors are so clear! It is easy to use, giving us access to all our favorites - Netflix, Amazon, etc. with just the touch of a button. The thin design makes it perfect to hang on the wall. Definitely recommend.

Great picture, sound and easy to use. The transition from cable to streaming and vice versa is quick and easy compared to my LG OLED. The other great feature is the built-in speakers, so no sound bar is needed unless you want theatre sound.

I have always been a Sony fanboy. With my current 60" Sony LCD showing its age of 9-years and a Super Bowl party quickly approaching, it was a great time to upgrade. It was a little tough to decide on which TV to purchase, it came down to size or picture quality. And at the end my wife and I ended up going with picture quality. The Sony A9G was much better than the different brands and models in the store. We love watching live sports and watching football games on this OLED is simply amazing.
