We used to have that exact same model, so I'm aware of what you're talking about. We recently purchased the 65" Sony BRAVIA OLED 4K and it is very fast, with no lag at all. It is also much faster than our other Sony Smart TV.

You’ll be happy to know that Sony has made significant strides in improving UI responsiveness with newer models like the BRAVIA 8. Unlike the XBR-65X900E, which ran on an earlier version of Android TV and could feel sluggish, the BRAVIA 8 uses the latest Google TV platform powered by Sony’s updated BRAVIA XR processor. This combo delivers a much snappier experience, menu navigation, app launches, and remote inputs respond almost instantly, usually within a fraction of a second. The improvement comes from both the faster hardware and a more streamlined Google TV interface, which is less cluttered and better optimized than the older Android TV system. If you’ve found the delay frustrating on your X900E, the BRAVIA 8 will feel like a big upgrade in usability while keeping that stellar picture quality you love. Regards, Jess
