Hi Gmw248, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it does. You can connect audio systems such as AV receivers or sound bars to the A80J TV through HDMI ARC/eARC or Digital Optical connection. For reference: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/iusltn1/v1/en-003/04-04_03.html?hl=connecting+terminal. The A80J TV also has traditional speaker wire inputs for those customers who have a traditional receiver and surround system.
