“I have an older sharp hr-200b with either a 3mm audio in or two rca in’s. Does the TV have these audio outputs?”

Not sure about the 3mm audio (not home right now to check) but it surprisingly does not have rca inputs. I discovered that when trying to hook up my VCR to the tv using rca cables and discovered there are no rca inputs.
