• Hi JimMc, Thanks for your inquiry. The stand of the XR65A80J TV can be installed in a soundbar position. However, it only gives about 2 7/8 inches (72.3 mm) free space for placing a soundbar beneath the TV. -Ralph

• It’s about half inch off the bottom. I went with wall mount and entertainment center underneath
