Yes. It should. Just make sure the base is strong enough to support the weight of the TV. It's about 100 lb. TheTV stand is heavier than the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know if I can help much, but here goes: My TV sits on top of a console and is flush, no space underneath. The whole picture screen is allegedly a center audio speaker. Placing a box under the TV as you suggest, would leave space for a sound bar. It’s a shame that you have to go through all that trouble just to add external audio. I need to educate myself a lot more with this TV. I’m leaning toward adding a bass speaker, a left and a right speaker and something like a Marantz or Yamaha audio amplifier, maybe use the TV screen as the center speaker. This is probably not much help, but that’s all I know for now. Thanks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The HT-A7000 is 3.250" tall. I don't know the height of the soundbar you will use. If you can, I would add +2" or more to allow for sound to travel and bounce properly (especially if it is Dolby Atmos probably more like +3"). Also, understand the base of this TV is very heavy so you will need to build the platform from something very solid/sturdy and with support so that is will not break down or sag over time. Would love to see pictures when you complete. Best wishes.
