This is a wireless connection method. You can accomplish this easily if you have an AppleTv streaming device connected to the television. You can then use the “mirror display” feature to display your MacBook Air to the set. Another option would be to connect your MacBook Air directly using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter
