These sound bars add a lot of dynamic sound to your experience so I would keep the sound bar idea. Televisions are very light today so I would place the television on a platform/shelf behind the sound bar. They make platforms for this that are 4"- 9" thick that your tv stand will easily fit. Another option is to mount the television to the wall elevated so the soundbar will not obstruct the view. I have done both of these options at one time or another in the past and it worked very well. I don't know your exact situation, but I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although my tv is wall mounted, I chose definitive technology. Capable of atmos, dts-x, and all the in between. A TV off this caliber deserves more than a sound bar imho
