“Does this TV have the imminent persistent problem of my expensive Sony - 65" Class A8G Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Android TV of image retention after a year? I loved the picture, not so much a year and half later. Seriously disappointed, should be recalled.”

No that is exclusively an OLED problem.
