“Recently purchased this TV and when I connected my PS5 and loaded up a game it stated the the TV does NOT support HDR @2160p and required me to drop the resolution to 1080p in order to turn on the HDR. Is this factual and how can I fix it?”

Hi Bheller, Thank you for reaching out. This TV supports HDR at 4K. To enable HDR at 4K on your TV, please set the HDMI signal format to "Enhanced". To change the HDMI signal format setting, press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Channels & Inputs] — [External inputs] — [HDMI signal format] — [Enhanced format].
