Hi RONC, The audio technology on this X93L is called Acoustic Multi-Audio which utilizes X-Balance Speakers around the frame of the television. During setup you will be asked to configure for tabletop or wall mounted in order to get the most out of your listening experience. When installing the TV against a wall or enclosed area, allow adequate space around the TV set to ensure proper air circulation. Hope this helps. Regards, Jess
