Hi Ali, Each model uses a different backlight dimming type and backlight type. Another major difference is that the 900E features the X-tended Dynamic Range to enhanced contrast for better overall viewing experience. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the X900E has full array local dimming, so this is better for watching movies. also X900E is brighter which means better HDR performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the 800 and 900 are both good. the 900 will be brighter and have better black levels to a OLED tv. The 900 has local dimming instead of side dimming which give you better contrast and blacks and whites. 900 has a great processor for motion and better color . would get the 900 over 800 anyday
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of the differences between the 850 and the 900 is the way the screen is lit up. The 850 has a Edge LED which means the lights run only around the edges of the TV. The 900 series has local dimming which means there are lights all over the screen that provide better contrast and imaging. It has a faster processor and better color accuracy. If you can afford to spend a couple more hundred dollars it's totally worth it. If not, the 850 is not a bad choice.
