“We are looking for a quality 65" Smart TV and are currently comparing the Sony XBR-65X900E and the Samsung UN65KS8000. First question, should we also consider any other TV that is within that price range? Second, should we get a sound bar for these TVs?”

I have a new Samsung and the new Sony is superior in picture quality and ease of setup and use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We bought the Sony 65" 900E with the best soundbar and absolutely love it. If you are going to upgrade to a smart TV get the whole package right away or you will probably be disappointed. You'll have a great TV but not so good sound.

Its the 1st led tv i have found that can compete with the picture quality puff my 2013 panasonic plasma. And that's saying alot. A far as soundbars go yes i would highly recommend a sound bar or home theater system. The picture is great but due to how thin the tvs are they can't really put hear speakers in them. The audio difference will be huge. Unless you only watch talk shows and the news.
