Easily done. Nice packaging design by Sony. The stand mounts to the back with 4 screws ( included in separate bag and follow the instructions) TV only weighs about 50 lbs so it can be easily moved by one person. Grab the tv in the middle if flying solo and place on your stand being careful not to rest your hand on the screen. Weighs about 2/3 the weight of older TV's. Buy an HDMI cable to go directly from your STB (Set Top Box) to the TV HDMI1? then use and optical cable from the TV( if an older receiver) to the optical input on the receiver. Re-configure the audio ports and you will love the results. Total time with unpacking and removing the older TV about 1.25 hrs. Well worth the time.
