“I purchased a Sony XBR65X900E with a Sony HTNT5 sound bar. Connected through HDMI arc. Sound bar on Bluetooth works great. Tv sound works. But I can’t get any tv sound through the sound bar. Silence. How do I get them to work together?”

I had the same problem at first - mine was not plugged-in tight enough. Simple solution, but I worked and worked - finally I pushed in the round plug where the sound bar was, and boom. May not help you, but did the trick for me. It's worth a check.
