No. What matters is the output hdmi cable from receiver to tv and source signal. Basically, you need to upgrade DTV service and equipment for 4k signal unless streaming. Also make sure you are using hdmi port 2 or 3 and enable 4k on those inputs through settings. Lastly, run directly from receiver to tv, not a hub or xbox as this will compromise image quality.

They might each have one channel or a small library of on demand content in UHD, but that is about it. An updrade would likely be needed to have access to the very limited amount of UHD content.
