Is this tv edge lit or back lit null

It's not edge lit so my assumption is that it's backlit!

the z9d has Sony's new backlit control called Backlight Master Drive .. this results in extremely deep, accurate black levels and incredible color contrast.

Back lit, with many many zones. Maybe that's why it weights 80 pounds!
