Does this TV upconvert a 2d signal to 3d? null

No it does not convert 2D to 3D, but the 3D is very good for an active display, although you have to play around with the settings and picture modes and sometimes reset the TV to eliminate crosstalk.

I've had my set now for two months, and I've seen nothing in the manual or the on-screen menus that supports conversion from 2D to 3D.

I wish it did, but it doesn’t.
