Sorry, it won't. You won't see any 2017 LED or OLED flat-screen models sporting 3D. It was considered frivolous. It is still available on new projection models. That may change soon too. The big question is whether the studios will still continue to produce and distribute 3D Blu-rays. I'm firmly in your camp and want to see manufacturers continue to make newer and better 3D sets, but I think it is a lost cause. It's hard to vote with your wallet when no one is manufacturing new 3D flat-screens.

I know a lot of people still look for 3D when making a purchase. Movie studios still have 3D movies coming out and in theatres.
