“I recently purchased a 65" Sony Bravia X750H Series TV, along with a Sony 1155 W 7.2 Channel Receiver. I've connected the two units, but I can't get any sound out of my external speakers. I only have sound from my TV speakers. What am I doing wrong?”

I don't know how you have "connected" the two units so let me give some general suggestions. Normally, for this type of setup the input signal (from a cable box, dish, etc.) would be connected directly to the receiver (not the TV). Then connect an HDMI out from the receiver to the TV (e.g., HDMI 1). With the TV remote select the Source as HDMI 1 (if that's not already the selection). On the receiver select the appropriate HDMI input for the TV signal. Now you should have audio to your external speakers.

Use the Audio button on your remote to select digital audio output from the tv instead of tv speakers as your audio output. Also make sure your tuner/amp is selected to TV or digital audio input as the source.
