I've owned many TV brands over the years. My Sony's and LG's were problem free. I had service issues with a Samsung after 13 months (out of warranty) of purchasing one of them. I just purchased a Sony XBR65X90F and was glad to pay a few dollars more than if I purchased a Samsung. In most cases, you get what you pay for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I owned a a Samsung in the past and after 14 months a major issue was discovered. There was a class action suit and Samsung decided to fix for free or pay you. I opted for full payment, but it was rejected. Finally, I didn't get the free service repair as well. You will do good with switching to Sony. They are defect free. With the high prices you are paying, I would wish no repairs for 5 year at least. I cannot trust Samsung any more after my ordeal.
