“Went in to Best Buy to see the Sony X900F and A8G, both happened to be side by side. I was disappointed to see alot of motion jutter & bad halo from both sets. The A8G also had high level of artifacts. Could it be a calibration problem or is this typical?”

I don’t think there really is a technology to keep up with what these TVs can produce for quality. My 900F is looking very good with my PS4 PRO, Verizon FIOS, and any UHD BLU-RAY that I watch. I only see some discrepancy with the FIOS cable. Maybe that is because FIOS is only an actual 720P signal. Point is, at home, you won’t see any of the faults.
