• No don't have iPhone. But I could not get my remote to sync to my sound system.

• iPhone mirroring no, you need an Apple TV to do that. But Airplay / cast yes. You can easily cast your favorite apps like YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud, to the tv from iPhone /iPad. As long as the app supports airplay /cast.
