Hi Tangledwolf, thanks for inquiring about the TV. The X900H will support up to 48 Gbps transfer rate to support 4K120, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) via a future firmware update. Regards, Erin
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes Sony will be releasing a firmware update in early November adding 2.1 48GBPS support to HDMI Ports 3 & 4 as well as eARC
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the ports are not 48GBPS; this is what is suspected to be preventing the TV from being able to pull off 4K/120. It is currently May 2021 and Sony STILL has not released the VRR/ALLM update, nor have they addressed when blurry 4K/120hz will be fixed (or IF it can be fixed). Not sure if it's the SOC, a faulty HDMI 2.1 chipset, or what but it sucks they won't reach out to their customer base.
