Thanks for all the answers! The HTS receiver I have is JVC RX-778VBK which does not have digital nor HDMI connections for TV sound input. This Sony TV does not have analog output. That is why I tried several digital to analog converter to hook TV sound to HRS, but failed. Appreciate the help!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.RCA converters ??? Insure your HTS supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) Connect the HDMI cable to that port and HDMI port 3 (ARC) on the TV. Insure that the HTS input is listed for the use of ARC, you may need to make additional settings in the HTS. If that still dosnt work check to see if your HTS has a optical Audio jack - connect that to the TV and HTS depending on your HTS you may need to connect this to an audio in. There are a couple of other options but without the type of HTS make and model I can only give you some basic ideas.
