Hi nycflames, Make sure to update your TV with the latest firmware to add support for 4K 120Hz functionality. You may visit our website to see other benefits the update has for your TV. Also, we recommend setting your TV to Game mode to fully optimize your gaming experience. Thank you for choosing Sony! Regards, Sony Social Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be sure to download the most recent update. You will then need to go to setting, inputs, and change them away from standard to Enhanced. My update was available a week or so after I got the TV. Beware though: There seems to be many bugs with the update so far. My sound does not work daily until I unplug the TV and plug it back in. No good!

Sony is (theoretically) trying to fix it, but I wouldn't consider it 100% certain it will be fixed. Apparently it's most noticeable with text, so consider what types of games you play mostly and how important 'readability of the text' is. In reality pushing 4K resolution at 120fps is straining the capabilities of these consoles unless the visuals aren't that great-looking to begin with. You need more like a GTX3090 in a gaming PC to run that fast and still get great graphics. Just sayin'.
