This is the biggest unsolved mystery on the planet. I bought a 55" XBR55X900H and I cannot connect to my 5Ghz network because it will not accept the password that I know is entered correctly. None of the suggested fixes posted on the hundreds of forums I surveyed have a definitive resolution other than to hardwire your TV to your router. For many people that is not feasible. How can you expect anyone to pay $1,000 or more for a TV that cannot connect to the fastest wireless network possible? Sony has to issue a fix for this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm guessing you're modem has 2 different passwords ,or there's a setting to switch it to look for 5ghz
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, thank you for posting your concern. If your referring to the WIFI standard of this tv it is Protocol IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac AC is considered 5ghz networks which this tv is supportive. You may need a network modem or router that supports AC standard to meet that speed. Should you need further assistance, please email the below information to [email protected].
