I believe you need to pair your tv with your wifi first. There is a help button on the remote that might be of help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Shelley, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the TV connecting to the internet. We'd love to troubleshoot the issue and make this a better experience for you. In the meantime, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot. Power reset your modem/router. Internet connection issues are often resolved after performing a power reset. If you have a separate modem and router, power reset both devices Unplug the power cable to your modem/router and wait about 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable to your modem/router and make sure it's turned on. Wait until the device is finished connecting to the internet and your network. Check if the issue is resolved. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine set itself up (almost) with minimal effort on my part. "Connecting to the Internet" can mean several different things and there are multiple "failure points" to consider. 1. Is the TV connected to the LAN or Wifi? This TV will tell you if there's no network connection but u can also check network status under the settings menu on the TV. If an IP address is not assigned to the TV, try reconnecting to your wifi (did you enter the router password correctly?) or unplug and reinsert the LAN cable. 2. If it still does not work, reset your modem and router. This can be a single device or two separate devices depending on your service provider. I recommend unplugging, wait 15 sec and plug back in rather than using a reset button (which might lose your settings), 3. If you have home network access (IP address assigned on your home network), check to see if your other network devices can access the Internet (e.g. can you stream music to your phone?). If yes, try turning the TV off, unplug it, wait 15 sec and plug back in/turn on. There is a 90+% chance the issue is not with the TV. If these things don't work, call the Geek Squad.
