“I have a Denon AVR Receiver with Bose speakers. Would this replace those entirely or does the Denon simply treat this as a speaker and it replaces the bose speakers?”

This replaces entirely why would you want to mix? if you just need Atmos, get additional 2 speakers facing upward or put on Height - pref ceiling

Please try again later.The Sony Dolby Atmos is stand alone sound system that connects to your TV, Blue Ray, etc. Yo u may want to talk to an expert at BestBuy about your receiver. I am pretty sure you won’t need it. Sound is amazing and easy to setup. You can download the manual for all that this system can do. Go to BestBuy if you want a demo.
