The answer, Ralph, really wasn’t an answer. You leave it vague by saying that Sony couldn’t “guarantee” the quality of a transmitter. I realize it wasn’t “designed” for rear speakers; but, in reading the numerous posts across multiple platforms, I feel it is the number one complaint. I am so disappointed in this HT-ST5000 and so want to return it and will look into it in the coming week. What is Sony’s / Best Buy’s return policy? IF Sony had the ability to add speakers to this soundbar, it would be near perfect. As it is, it’s not worth the huge price tag!

We also can't guarantee full operation when using a wireless transmitter. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. This will certainly help us improve our products. You can use the sound settings of the soundbar to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs.
