“I purchased an XBR940D 75" tv and the HTST9 Soundbar. I want to mount it to the wall and my installer is saying I need a mounting bracket, but everything I find in the manual and online is that there are just the two screw holes in the back of soundbar.”

It's a heavy soundbar . Get you a 1x4 and rip it down the middle after that cut the split 1x4 40 inches long and mount under your tv screwing screw to stud then alin your sound bar holes and will work fine. I also used 3x3 l brackets to be sure it was supported , it is very steady on the wall
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No brackets are necessary however the unit is large and heavy so ensure it is secured to studs or using wall anchors that can support the weight. It will not last long if secured only to the drywall without anchors.
