“Problem with soundbar powering off / 'push power protect' message Have had this for about 4 months, bought when they first came out. For the 2nd time, sound bar made a popping sound, powered off with 'push power protect' message reading on home screen, and wouldn't come back on. After an hour and 2 phone calls to Sony support, tech told us to hold down power button and reboot system, which we did and problem was fixed. This time, that doesn't work, sound bar will not come on. Anyone have any ideas, or are we screwed?”

Hope you are not screwed but... Mine did that same deal then the sound started shutting of every few minutes then dead. I got mine from bestbuy and it was just six months old when it died. it was in repair for over a month and was told they could not get the mainboard from sony finally they approved a exchange ticket and I got my money back Good luck with yours Doug
