“Can anyone tell me why this reciever shuts off like clockwork after 20min? I don't have auto standby or sleeper turned on. It's on a bottom shelf by itself and preesing the power button for 5sec only makes it turn on to SA/CATV.”

Do you have another Bravia sync device connected that is turning off? My PS3 was messing with mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This doesn't sound like normal behavior. There are no settings that have a 20 minute timer. Have you tried doing a factory reset? Turn off the receiver. Then hold down the power button for more than 10 seconds. You should see a message on the display letting you know it's been reset. You'll have to redo all your settings, but that might fix the problem if its a software or bios issue.
