“I'm having a tough time getting this receiver to allow my HDMI cable signal to pass thru to the TV when the receiver is in standby mode. Every time I turn on the TV, the receiver comes on, then ANNOYINGLY requires that I choose the input source. Help!?”

some screens like Samsung have that Anynet feature that automatically tries to sense devices try to disable that feature. I am using the Sony rcvr with Samsung screen and Sony blueray dvd and cox cable tv and when i turn on screen and rcvr it always comes up SAT/CABLE no issue and when I turn on the blue ray, the rcvr auto switches to DVD on its own.
